The short version
This site collects your email address and, if you choose to answer it, what you would use Engram for. It is used only to tell you when Engram for Mac is ready to try. We do not sell it, share it for advertising, or set tracking cookies.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you join the waitlist.
- Your answer to "What would you use it for?", if you give one.
- Anonymous page-view counts through Vercel Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and stores no personal identifiers.
Why
To email you about Engram for Mac (an early build, then the launch) and to decide what to build first. We rely on your consent, which you give by confirming your email. You can withdraw it at any time.
Where it is stored
The waitlist is run by Buttondown, which stores it on servers in the United States. The site is hosted by Vercel. Neither uses your data for its own marketing.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until the waitlist is closed, whichever comes first. Unconfirmed signups are removed after 30 days.
Your rights
You can unsubscribe with the link in any email. To see, correct or delete your data, emailhello@engram.dev and we will do it within 30 days. These rights apply under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, if you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
The Engram software
This policy covers the website only. The open-source Engram library runs on your own machine. With thelocal profile nothing it stores leaves your computer.
